I started my fitness journey with Teri in 2005. It was during that time, I initially started considering the idea of competing in a figure competition. While the idea was very intriguing to me, I did not feel I was at a place in my life where I could totally commit to training for a show. After getting married, two children, three job changes, and a complete ACL and meniscus repair later, I decided it was the right time and I am so glad I did!

Training for my first competition was an amazing experience. While I had completed the B-Fit program twice before, I found this most recent experience the most rewarding. Before, I went through the process with a mindset focusing on all the things I could not have. This made me a very unpleasant person to be around. This time, I focused on my end goal and reminded myself it was my choice to train for a competition and at anytime I could choose to eat whatever I wanted.  Changing my mindset in this way resulted in a very positive and enjoyable five months of contest preparation. Even my husband commented on how much happier I was during this training cycle. I’m not going to lie, the first three days of the last week of prep about did me in, but I got through it because I had already come so far.

I am so thankful for Teri, her staff, and all her B-fitters. My life is so chaotic and stressful, but the minute I walk into B-Fit, I am greeted with smiles from people who genuinely care about and support me. These people, along with the amazing support of my family and friends, made accomplishing my goal possible.

As I stated previously, I have known Teri now for 10 years. During that time, my periods of training with Teri have been paused while  I ventured into marathon running and trying to find trainers closer to my home, but I have always come back to Teri. Why? Because she is the BEST! I know that if follow her direction I will get, and maintain, the results that I want. Never again will stray!!
